Dubai Traditional

Here the focus is on the traditional part of Dubai.
We start at the Dubai Museum, which is housed in the 200-year-old Al Fahidi Fort and gives a great insight into the history of the city of pearl divers, fishermen and Bedouins (alternatively, there are many other museums e.g. Sheikh Saeed Al Maktoum House, where you can see many private photos of the sheikh family and their home), stroll through the Indian alley and the fabric souk along the Creek e.g. to the Camel Museum to Shindagha to the Heritage Village.

Bastakiya is certainly one of the highlights of this tour, because here you will find the oldest part of town with only 56 houses, which today contain small museums, cafes and stores. The buildings have a great historical value, because here you can find the local Arabic architecture, like the typical "Barjeels", the wind towers, which served as air conditioners. Very traditionally we take the water cab of the "Abra" to the other side to Deira, where you can already smell the oriental fragrance from the spice souk. There you can indulge in all the delights of the Orient. Not to be missed is the gold souk, where there is always a hustle and bustle and heavy haggling depending on the daily gold price.

If there is still time, you can also visit the vegetable and fish market. With this tour there is also the possibility to buy souvenirs in the souks and a stop for a typical Arabic coffee or tea and also afterwards a stop to taste local delicacies, the oriental cuisine is excellent. You can also include the Women's Museum and the Pearl Museum depending on the length of the tour. As well as the new/old Al Seef can be visited, as always all tours are arranged individually with the customer.
