Musandam is located on the northeastern tip of the Arabian Peninsula, just off the Strait of Hormuz, but belongs to the territory of Oman. The starting point for all tours there is the small sleepy Khasab, a typical Omani village. A stark contrast to Dubai, but very beautiful due to its spectacular location. If you drive from Dubai, you will experience a great coastal road after the border, which runs directly between the mountains and the sea along and the views are unique.
Especially popular are the trips with the traditional wooden dhow, which are still used today for the trade of all kinds of goods. Once on board, it is quite casual, all laid out with carpets, you can make yourself comfortable on the seat cushions of the Majlis, completely in Arabian style. The cliffs of the Hajar Mountains drop steeply into the sea, which is why this fjord landscape owes its name "Norway of the Middle East". Enchanting bays, small islands and lonely beaches and villages, which can only be reached by boat, can be found here. This trip is pure nature to relax but also activity for those who want to swim or even snorkel, because there are beautiful corals under water and lots of colorful fish.
A highlight of this tour are the dolphins, which sometimes swim in the wave of the dhow and come so close, you can take great photos and dolphins you do not see every day.

Daily:
Half day tour about 4 hours
Full day tour about 6 hours including lunch on the boat.
The dhow has a toilet. Take bathing suits, sunscreen and towels. For small groups we can also offer dhows exclusively also for overnight stays.
In Khasab we also offer jeep tours into the mountains, where there are exciting roads off-road and spectacular views. We are also happy to organize camping on the beach (price on request).
